About UsWe are women you can meet anywhere any day.
Our goal is to do ordinary things with extraordinary vision: to live our daily lives with the love of God and all creation. Rooted in a life of prayer which enables us to embrace our prophetic role, we work together to unite all in God's love.
Message from the President Sister Jean Amore, CSJ
People of Hope Perhaps one of the greatest contributions we can make to people in our world today is to be people of hope. Our neighborhoods are grieving the lost lives of young people destroyed because of racial and cultural prejudice; our country is trying to address a failing economic system leaving too many people jobless and homeless; our world is composed of nations still trying to settle differences by war and violence, and Earth is being depleted of the very resources we need to live because of greed and excessive consumerism. Yet, despite this dark picture, we can believe that our prayer, our sacrifices, our small actions, our advocacy, and our positive energy can make a difference. As Margaret Meade said: "Never doubt that a small group oi thoughtful committed people can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has." We do what we do because we believe in God, we love, and we do what we know we have to do. "Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out." (Vaclav Havel)
